ITHACA, N.Y. – The Ithaca College men's swimming and diving team competed against Hartwick College and SUNY Geneseo on Saturdayat the A&E Aquatics Pavilion. The Bombers fell to Geneseo, 212-88, before suffering the same fate against the Hawks, 177-114.
James Bowe recorded the first win for the Bombers after taking first place in the 200-yard backstroke with a time of 2:14.16.
Addison Hebert took second overall in the 200-yard free after finishing in 1:46.10 while
Aidan Hartswick finished just out of first place after touching the wall just .22 seconds behind the eventual winner in 1:01.23 in the 100-yard breaststroke.
Ithaca also finished second in the 400-yard free when
Aaron Levin,
Jeremy Kingsley, Hebert and Hartswick completed the event less than one second off the lead pace in 3:13.05.
In the deep end,
Scott Hillen finished third overall in the 1-meter with a score of 245.55.
The Bombers will welcome several teams from throughout the Northeast for a three-day met beginning on December 4 when they host the Bomber Invitational at the A&E Aquatics pavilion.
