Box Score ITHACA, N.Y. – The Ithaca College men's soccer team battled to a draw with Geneseo Saturday afternoon, tying the Knights by a score of 1-1 at Carp Wood Field.

Casey Williamson scored the lone goal for Ithaca, while classmate
Jordan Gentile stopped 4-of-5 shots in goal, moving his record to 0-2-1 on the season.
Geneseo scored the first goal of the contest at 19:37 of the opening half. The Knights converted a header after a cross pass through the box, giving them the early 1-0 advantage. Geneseo's lead held until halftime, sending the game to the break at 1-0.
Ithaca responded almost immediately in the second frame, as the Bombers evened the contest in the 48th minute. Junior
Jordan Filipowich took control of the ball at the far side of the Knights' goal line, before sending a perfect pass against the grain back up into the box. Williamson pounced on the pass and beat the Geneseo goalkeeper with a low shot for his first goal of the season.
Neither team was able to convert again in regulation, sending the contest to overtime. The Bombers were able to develop some chances in both overtimes, but strong defense prevailed to reserve the 1-1 draw.
The Bombers' next game is a road contest with Cortland on Sunday, Sept. 14. Start time is scheduled for 4 p.m.
