WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. – The No. 23 Ithaca College women's soccer team will play No. 5 Williams today, facing off against the host Ephs in the regional final of the NCAA Tournament. The winner will head to the round of 16. Game time is set for 1 p.m.
Williams is 17-1-1 on the season, with the team's most recent victory coming in the form of a 2-0 victory over Lasell in the opening round of the playoffs. Williams scored its two goals in the second half, each coming in the first four minutes of the frame. Sophomore Kristi Kirshe scored both Eph goals, with classmate Audrey Thomas recording the assists. Goalkeeper Hannah Van Wetter recorded the shutout, stopping both shots she faced to move to 15-1-1 on the season.
The Bombers are now 15-3-1 on the year, including a 3-1 win over Springfield in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. Goalkeeper

Kelsey King scored twice for Ithaca, marking her third multi-goal game of the season. Junior

This season marks Ithaca's 12-straight NCAA Tournament appearance. It also marks the Bombers' ninth-straight trip to the second round, and 11th trip over the past 12 seasons. With a win, Ithaca will advance to the sectional semifinal round of the tournament, where they will face the winner of the MIT – Roger Williams matchup. Ithaca is vying for its 13th trip to sectionals in program history, and seventh time in the last eight years.
