ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The 14th-ranked Ithaca College men's lacrosse team (7-3, 1-1 Empire 8) bowed out to host Nazareth (7-4, 2-0 Empire 8), 15-8, Friday evening in Empire 8 action.
Nazareth jumped out to a 4-2 lead in the first, but Ithaca outscored the Golden Flyers 5-3 in the second for a 7-7 deadlock at the half. Nazareth posted eight second-half goals, while holding Ithaca to just one over the 30-minute span to claim the victory.

Connor Lowe netted a hat trick and added an assist to lead the Bombers. Junior
Pat Slawta dished out two assists and scored once. Classmate
Jake Long scored a pair. Senior
Adam Wacenske and sophomore
James Manilla tallied the Bombers' other two.
Senior Adam Bruce and Wacenske forced three turnovers each. Freshman
Shane Stickle won a career-best seven faceoffs and joined Wacenske in collecting five ground balls apiece.
Freshman
Scott Sidnam suffered the loss in goal. He made 11 saves.
The Golden Flyers outshot Ithaca 43-29, collected 47 ground balls to the Bombers' 38 and held a 15-10 edge in faceoffs. Both teams committed 22 turnovers.
The Bombers host Rochester Institute of Technology on Wednesday at 4 p.m.
