ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The Ithaca College men's basketball team (20-8) will travel to 18th-ranked Rochester (22-4) on Saturday for a 7 p.m. NCAA Second-Round contest. The Bombers, in their third consecutive NCAA Tournament, are making their first trip to the second round since the 1992-93 season.

The winner will face the winner of the seventh-ranked Middlebury at 23rd-ranked Cortland regional final game on Saturday, March 16.
The Bombers are making their 12th appearance in the NCAA playoffs, including their fifth under head coach
Jim Mullins. Ithaca is 4-15 in NCAA playoff competition. In the last five years, Ithaca has made four NCAA postseason appearances and collected four 20-win seasons. Ithaca upset host Springfield, 89-77, in the opening round on March 2.
The Yellowjackets own a 7-4 all-time record in the series dating back to 1968. Most recently, the Bombers claimed an 81-72 victory at Rochester on Nov. 22, 2008. Ithaca is 82-53 all-time versus local rival Cortland. In their last meeting, the Red Dragons defeated Ithaca, 84-67, on Nov. 27. The Bombers have played Middlebury once in series history, defeating the Panthers 39-33 during the 1932-33 season.
