HILTON HEAD, S.C. -- The Ithaca College women's tennis team dispatched of two opponents on its spring trip to improve to 14-1 on the year with a 9-0 victory over Missouri Valley College on Sunday and a 6-3 win over Rensselaer on Wednesday.

Ithaca easily swept all singles and doubles matches against Missouri Valley as none of the singles matches were forced to a third set and the three doubles combined to drop just four games.

In defeating Rensselaer, the Bombers swept all three doubles points to start the match and that was followed by a win from Cristina Nunez to start singles play. Nunez also teamed with Carly Siegel to win 8-5 at first doubles. Those victories gave Nunez the all-time overall wins record for Ithaca College women's tennis, with 115. She entered the day tied with Melanie Cohen atop the overall wins chart at 113. RPI won the next three singles matches to make the score 4-3, but the Bombers clinched the dual with singles wins by Alyssa Steinweis and Siegel.
