CLINTON, N.Y. – The Ithaca College men's swimming and diving team totaled three dual victories at a quad meet hosted by Hamilton Saturday afternoon. Ithaca defeated host Hamilton 209-89, outscored Hartwick 145-143 and beat Geneseo 194-106.
The Bombers earned their first of seven first-place finishes in the 200-yard medley relay. The team of
John Carr,
Lucas Zelehowsky,
Taylor Van Cott and
Zack Kundel earned the top spot, finishing in a time of 1:38.10.
Kundel and Carr also took part in the 400-yard freestyle relay, joining
Peter Knight and
Addison Hebert on the top finishing team in a time of 3:12.20. Kundel capped his day with an individual first place finish in the 50-yard freestyle, taking the top spot in a time of 21.58. Carr also earned an individual first place finish, completing the 100-yard freestyle in a time of 48.09.
Ithaca's
Matt Morrison swept the diving events, earning a score of 311.30 in the 1-meter-dive and a score of 315.45 in the 3-meter dive.
Lucas Zelehowsky also earned a victory for the Bombers, taking first with a time of 52.49 in the 100-yard butterfly.
Ithaca returns to action Dec. 6 through Dec. 8 when the team hosts the Bomber Invitational at the A&E Center Aquatics Pavilion.
