ITHACA, N.Y. – The second-seeded Ithaca College men's lacrosse team (12-5) is making its ninth straight appearance in the Empire 8 tournament. The Bombers will travel to top-seeded and ninth-ranked Stevens Institute of Technology (15-2) for the championship game Saturday at 1 p.m. Live Stats and a live video will be available during the game.

The Bombers defeated third-seeded Nazareth, 15-11, in its Empire 8 semifinal match, while the Ducks ousted fourth-seeded St. John Fisher, 11-5, on Wednesday.

The Bombers and Ducks are knotted at 3-3 in the all-time series dating back to 2007. This is the first the squads will meet in Empire 8 tournament play.

Ithaca owns a pair of Empire 8 crowns, while Stevens is vying for its first. The Bombers last advanced to the title game during the 2010 season, falling to RIT, 9-6.
