Claremont, Calif. -- The volleyball team (0-4) opened its season with a three-set loss (25-23, 25-19, 25-18) to Claremont-Mudd-Scripps in the California Classic. The Bombers lost 3-0 to #32 Redlands (26-24, 25-22, 25-21) in Friday's second match. Ithaca dropped matches to Pomona-Pitzer, 3-0 (25-21, 25-18, 25-19), and Chapman, 3-1 (25-16, 25-15, 23-25, 25-19), in Saturday's competition.
