ITHACA, N.Y.--The women's lacrosse team hammered visiting Elmira (6-8, 2-4 Empire 8) 17-2 Saturday afternoon to remain undefeated in conference play this season. With the win and Nazareth's loss to Stevens, the Bombers (8-4, 7-0 Empire 8) secured the top seed in the Empire 8 plaoffs, to be held May 8-9 at Ithaca's Carp Wood Field.

Ithaca scored the first 16 goals of the game, and did not allow an Elmira score until halfway through the second period. Nine Bombers netted goals in the win, including seven with multi-goal performances.

Senior Kylie McClure (Upper Arlington/Columbus, Ohio) and freshman Tracy Rivas (East Meadow/East Meadow) led all players with three goals apiece. With one goal and three assists, sophomore Nicole Borisenok (Albany Academy for Girls/Watervliet) had a game-high four points.
