2010 Game-by-Game Statistics
2009: Dowell took over as Ithaca’s starting goalkeeper, making all 16 starts for the Bombers. She recorded a 12.02 goals against average and a 41.3 save percentage. Dowell tallied 116 saves on the season, including five games with 10 or stops. She picked up 14 saves against nationally-ranked William Smith and had 12 in a win over Cortland. Dowell led the Bombers with 41 ground ball pickups, including a career-high eight against RIT.
2009 Game-by-Game
2008: Dowell made three appearances in goal for the Bombers, making four saves, including three in the NCAA tournament against Middlebury. She compile a 6.44 goals against average.
2007: Dowell played in four games as a reserve goalie, making her collegiate debut in Ithaca’s season-opening win over Wells. She recorded her first save in the win over Sweet Briar and collected a season-best eight against #16 William Smith.
Career Statistics
High School: A 2006 graduate of Massapequa High School, Dowell was coached by Megan and Leigh Ann Zimmer. She was an all-conference selection and was named the team’s Most Improved Player as a senior.
Personal: A student in the exploratory program, she is the daughter of George and Leslie Dowell. She has earned two letters as a goalie on Ithaca’s field hockey team.
