Huntingdon, Pa..--The volleyball team(2-3) dropped a match 25-11, 25-15, 25-17 to host Juniata to close play at the Aascis Invitational Saturday afternoon. The Bombers matchup with the No. 2 Eagles (3-0) was their second against a ranked team in the tournament.

Senior Rachel Busch (Hoover/North Canton, Ohio) led Ithaca with 10 kills, and also paced the team with 30 in the weekend's four matches.

Senior Corinna Doctor (Skaneateles/Skaneateles) and sophomore Tina Orlandini (Flintridge Sacred Heart/Altadena, Calif.) tied for the team lead with nine digs. Doctor also had a team-best 19 assists.

Ithaca returns to action Tuesday with a 7 p.m. match at Rochester.
