Oneonta, N.Y.--The Bombers rallied from a 2-1 deficit to defeat St. John Fisher (7-9, 1-1 Empire 8) ( 25-12, 22-25, 19-25, 25-17, 15-10 at the Empire 8 Crossover Saturday evening. Ithaca (11-7, 2-0 Empire 8) continues conference play Sunday, with a 12:30 p.m. match against Utica.

Three Bombers reached double-digits in kills. The team was led by sophomore Chelsea Hayes (Northern Valley Regional/Haworth, N.J.), who picked up 15. Senior Rachel Busch (Hoover/North Canton, Ohio) and sophomore Karin Edsall (Cornwall Central/Cornwall) added 12 and 10, respectively.

The Bombers recorded a season-high 114 digs against the Cardinals, with five players tallying at least 10. Sophomore Tina Orlandini (Flintridge Sacred Heart/Altadena, Calif.) led all players with 32, with senior Corinna Doctor (Skaneateles/Skaneateles) ranking second with 23.

Doctor also tallied a match-high 43 assists. She has four matches with at least 40 assists this season.
