ITHACA, N.Y. -- The top-seeded softball team (26-15) beat fourth-seeded Rochester Institute of Technology (19-17) 4-1 Saturday in game five of the Empire 8 Championship Tournament. The Bombers will face second-seeded St. John Fisher at 3 p.m. and an Ithaca win would set up a second game between the two teams at 5 p.m. for the Empire 8 title.
