Rochester, N.Y. – The Ithaca women's tennis team (11-1) lost 5-4 at Rochester (5-1) Saturday as the Bombers returned to dual meet competition for the spring semester. Ithaca's last dual competition was in the Empire 8 Championships in mid-October.

Ithaca earned two of its four overall victories in doubles competition. Senior Alyssa Jaffe (Pascack Hills/Montvale, N.J.) and junior Devra Reiman (Columbia/Maplewood, N.J.) won 9-7 at second doubles and sophomores Melanie Cohen (Hatboro-Horsham/Ambler, Pa.) and Melissa Nunez (Morris Hills/Rockaway, N.J.) were 8-6 victors at third doubles.

The Bombers' singles wins came from senior Natalie Jenereski (Knoch/Butler, Pa.) and junior Sarah Hollis (Greens Farms Academy/Fairfield, Conn.). Jenereski won 6-3, 7-6 (7-3) at fifth singles and Hollis won 7-5, 6-1 at sixth singles.
