Fredonia, N.Y.--Ithaca (14-10) closed the Blue Devil Invitational with a loss to host Fredonia (12-10), 25-17, 18-25, 25-19, 25-18. Seniors Corinna Doctor (Skaneateles/Skaneateles) and Rachel Busch (Hoover/North Canton, Ohio) were both named to the all-tournament team.

Doctor picked up 116 assists in the four matches over the weekend, and now has 718 this season. She also tallied 42 digs and a pair of aces over the weekend.

Busch lead the Bombers with 45 kills at the tournament, including 12 in each of the final three matches. She hit .381 against Gallaudet and .333 against Elmira.

Against the Blue Devils, Busch was the team leader with 12 kills Sophomores Kate Thoene (Voorhees/High Bridge, N.J.) and Elizabeth Previte (Hunterdon Central/Flemington, N.J.) added eight and seven kills, respectively.

Junior Tina Orlandini (Flintridge Sacred Heart/Altadena, Calif.) had a team-leading 22 digs.

Ithaca next competes Tuesday, hosting Cortland at 7 p.m. Busch, Doctor and fellow senor Lindsey Jones (Ballston Spa/Malta) will be honored at Senior Night.
