Bradley Leads Women's Basketball Team To Rout Of Hartwick

Tracy Bradley's 13 baskets were the most by a Bomber in four years

Oneonta, N.Y. -- The women's basketball team (10-0, 6-0 Empire 8) won its sixth straight game, remaining in first place in the Empire 8, by beating host Hartwick 70-54. Senior forward Tracy Bradley (Brunswick/Lewiston, Maine) scored a career-high 28 points and the Bombers held the Hawks to 32 percent shooting to beat them for the 18th time in 20 games.

Bradley made 13 baskets – the program's fifth-highest single-game total and two short of the Bomber record – and pulled down a team-high 10 rebounds. The double-double was the third of her career.

Junior point guard Katherine Bixby (Germantown Friends/Philadelphia, Pa.) added 11 points and sophomore forward Elissa Klie (Ramapo/Wyckoff, N.J.) and sophomore guard Jordan Confessore (South Brunswick/Kendall Park, N.J.) added 10 apiece.

The Hawks scored 10 straight points late in the second half to close to within nine points with 4:45 to go, but the Bombers held Hartwick to a single free throw the rest of the game.

The Bombers are idle until Jan. 25, when they'll travel to Stevens Institute of Technology for a noon game.
