Cortland, N.Y. – The Ithaca women's tennis team (4-0) beat Cortland (3-2) 7-2 Tuesday. Junior Devra Reiman (Columbia/Maplewood, N.J.), senior Alyssa Jaffe (Pascack Hills/Montvale, N.J.) and senior Natalie Jenereski (Knoch/Butler, Pa.) all recorded two wins on the day.

Reiman and Jaffe were paired together in first doubles and beat their Cortland counterparts 9-8 (9-7). It was the only doubles match settled by a tiebreaker. Reiman won her first singles match 6-1, 6-2 while Jaffe won second singles 6-3, 6-0.

Jenereski and freshman teammate Katrina Erdahl (Mars Area/Gibsonia, Pa.) recorded a victory in third doubles 8-4 while, Jenereski also won fourth singles 6-4, 7-6 (9-7).

Junior Sarah Hollis (Greens Farms Academy/Fairfield, Conn.) and sophomore Melissa Nunez (Morris Hills/Rockaway, N.J.) picked up the remainder of the Bombers' points with victories in fifth and sixth singles.

The Bombers travel to Alfred Wednesday for a 4 p.m. match.
