Brockport Downs Volleyball

Brianna D'Errico picked up five digs and three aces in her final match.

Rochester, N.Y.--Ithaca (17-20) concluded its season with a loss to Brockport (16-20) at the New York State Regional Challenge. The Golden Eagles won 22-25, 25-21, 25-19, 25-11.

For the second straight match, freshman Chelsea Hayes (Northern Valley Regional/Haworth, N.J.) led the Ithaca attack, she picked up 15 kills. Junior Rachel Busch (Hoover/North Canton, Ohio) put down eight kills.

Junior Corinna Doctor (Skaneateles/Skaneateles) totaled 29 assists for the Bombers. With 1,194 assists this season, Doctor is just the third player in school history to tally more than 1,000 in three straight seasons.

With 701 digs in 2008, including 15 against Brockport, sophomore Tina Orlandini (Flintridge Sacred Heart/Altadena, Calif.) became the third Bomber with 700 or more in a season.
