Cortland, N.Y. -- The visiting Bombers won their fifth straight, holding off #14 Cortland. Junior outfielder Kyle Rutherford (New Milford/New Milford, Conn.) led the Bombers with three hits and three RBI’s. Senior second baseman Marty O’Boyle (Verona/Verona, N.J.) scored two runs, drove in two and singled  twice. Senior Tom O’Connor (Weedsport/Weedsport) earned the win, allowing four runs over 5.1 innings. Senior John Dowling (Whitesboro/Utica) pitched two innings of one-hit shutout relief for the save.
