Gundersen led the Bombers to the Empire 8 title and a second-place finish at the NYSWCAA Championships. She won three state titles (200-yard freestyle, 200-yard freestyle relay, NYSWCAA champion, 400-yard freestyle relay) and four Empire 8 championships (200-yard freestyle, 200-yard freestyle relay, 400-yard freestyle relay and 400-yard medley relay) and was the NYSWCAA runner-up in the 100-yard freestyle, 400-yard medley relay and 800-yard freestyle relay and the Empire 8 runner-up in the 100-yard freestyle, 500-yard freestyle and 800-yard freestyle relay.
