Stone was phenomenal this past weekend in leading the Bombers within a fingertip of securing the program's first Liberty League Championship. In two matches in Potsdam, N.Y., the junior right side recorded 52 kills, 17 digs, 10 service aces, as well as one solo block and one block assist.
 
Stone began her weekend with a dominant performance in Ithaca's three-set sweep of RIT. She posted a match-high 16 kills (5.33 per set) on scintillating .387 hitting success, while also tormenting the Tigers from the service line with four aces.
 
She followed that performance up with a heroic effort the following afternoon against Clarkson in the Liberty League Championship. Against the Golden Knights she delivered a 36-kill (7.20 per set) effort that was one off her career-best for a single match. She also continued her strong work from the service line with six service aces (1.20 per set), while also notching her eighth double-double of the year with 17 digs.
 
For the season, Stone leads the Liberty League in almost every relevant offensive statistic. She ranks first in the league in kills (474), kills per set (4.65), points (541.5), and points per set (5.31).
 
Hughes delivered two double-digit dig performances in Ithaca's run to within a breath of the program's first Liberty League Championship this past weekend in Potsdam, N.Y. She finished the weekend with 38 digs.
 
Hughes posted 10 digs in Ithaca's Semifinal Round three-set triumph over RIT. She followed that up with a career-best performance in the marathon Championship Match against the Golden Knights. She finished with 28 digs in the match.
 
Hughes is now up to 11 double-digit dig performances on the season.
