McCord placed fifth in the finals of the 400-meter dash Saturday at the NCAA Championships to earn all-America honors for the first time in her career. McCord broke her own school record by nearly a second by posting a time of 55.92 and also competed in the 200-meter dash preliminaries, held Thursday. She placed sixth in her heat (and 20th overall), posting a time of 25.33.
