SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. – The Ithaca College women's cross country team placed second out of 13 teams Friday at RPI's Saratoga Invitational. The Bombers, who scored 95 points, were led by junior
Alexa Rick on the five-kilometer course.
Rick finished 10th in the race with a season-best time of 18:16.60. Classmate
Meghan Cass followed in 14th clocking another season-best of 18:26.30. Graduate student
Jenn Randall was third to cross the finish line for the Bombers, placing 21st in 18:39.80.
Sophomores
Jaime Lisack and
Michaela Cioffredi raced to season-best finishes of 18:47.20 and 18:49.00 to place 24th and 26th.
Juniors
Emily Smith and
Hannah Wright closed out the Bombers' top seven. Smith placed 30th in 18:52.70 and Wright 35th in 19:03.80. Both recorded season-best times.
Ithaca will race again Saturday, Sept. 21 at the Cortland Jack Daniels Invitational.
