TFFRS Profile and Results

2014: Smith was named All-Empire 8 First-Team and All-NYSCTC Second Team. She was also selected to the USTFCCCA All-Academic Team.

2013: Smith competed in nine races as a junior. She clocked season-best times of 18:52.00 in the 5,000-meter run and 22:46.50 in the 6,000. Her 6K time was the third-fastest on the team. She was a third-team All-NYSCTC selection with a 17th-place finish at the state meet. Smith was named to the USTFCCCA All-Academic Team and the Empire 8 Presidents’ List for Spring 2014.

2012: Smith competed in nine races during her sophomore season. She tallied season-best times of 15:34.70 in the 4,000-meter run, 18:50.98 in the 5,000 and 22:46.50 in the 6,000. Smith raced to a seventh-place finish at the conference meet to earn All-Empire 8 First-Team honors.

2011: Smith competed in four races as a freshman, earning All-Empire 8 Second-Team honors with a 12th-place finish at the championships. She recorded season-best times of 16:52.10 in the 4,000-meter run, 19:26.00 in the 5,000 and 25:20.00 in the 6,000. She was named to the Empire 8 Presidents' List for Spring 2012.

High School: A 2011 graduate of Orchard Park High School, Smith was a member of the cross country and indoor and outdoor track & field teams. As a varsity cross country runner, she earned the maroon key and MVP honors, while being recognized with the junior leadership award for outdoor track & field.

Personal: A film, photography and visual arts major, she is the daughter of Michael and Marjorie Smith. She is also a member of Ithaca's track & field team.
