TFFRS Profile and Results

2013: Cass competed in nine races as a junior captain. She clocked season-best times of 18:26.30 in the 5,000-meter run and 23:26.30 in the 6,000. She earned All-Empire 8 second-team recognition with a ninth-place finish and All-NYSCTC third-team accolades by placing 20th. Cass was named to the Empire 8 Presidents’ List for Spring 2014.

2012: Cass competed in seven races during her sophomore season. She tallied season-best times of 15:30.40 in the 4,000-meter run, 19:06.06 in the 5,000 and 23:06.70 in the 6,000. Cass earned All-Empire 8 Second-Team honors with a 13th-place finish at the conference championships. She was named to the Empire 8 Presidents’ List for Fall 2012.

2011: Cass competed in four races as a freshman. She recorded season-best times of 16:36.30 in the 4,000-meter run, 22:20.80 in the 5,000 and 25:45.00 in the 6,000. Cass was named to the Empire 8 Presidents’ List for Fall 2011 and Spring 2012.

High School: A 2011 graduate of Edison High School, Cass was a four-year member of the cross country and track & field teams. A cross country captain, she helped her team to the CIF preliminaries in 2009 before earning a spot in the CIF finals in 2010. During track & field competition, Cass had three top-four finishes at the Sunset League meet in 2010. She served as a varsity captain in 2011 and was named the JV MVP in 2010.

Personal: A physical therapy major, she is the daughter of Joel and Shary Cass. She is also a member of Ithaca's track & field team.
