2014: Rick earned All-Empire 8 First-Team and All-NYSCTC Third-Team recognition. She was also selected to the USTFCCCA All-Academic Team.
2013: Rick competed in nine races as a junior. She clocked season-bests of 17:55.70 in the 5,000-meter run, a team-best time, and 22:37.00 in the 6,000. Her 6K time ranked second on the squad. Rick earned all-region honors with a 35th-place finish at the NCAA Atlantic Region Championship, was a first-team All-Empire 8 selection with a runner-up performance and earned second-team All-NYSCTC praise with a finish of 14th. She was named Empire 8 Runner of the Week on September 17. Rick was selected to the USTFCCCA All-Academic Team and the Empire 8 Presidents’ List for Fall 2013 and Spring 2014.
2012: Rick competed in nine races during her sophomore season. She tallied team-best times of 14:56.00 in the 4,000-meter run, 18:22.12 in the 5,000 and 22:01.20 in the 6,000. Rick, a two-time Empire 8 Runner of the Week, was selected to the NCAA All-Atlantic Region Team with a 24th-place finish at the regional meet. She finished as runner-up at the Empire 8 Championship to earn first-team all-conference honors and crossed the finish line 16th at the NYSCTC Championship to secure third-team all-state accolades. A USTFCCCA All-Academic Team selection, Rick was named to the Empire 8 Presidents’ List for Fall 2012 and Spring 2013.
2011: Rick, the Empire 8 Rookie of the Year, competed in nine races as a freshman. She was named Empire 8 Rookie of the Meet after an All-Empire 8 First-Team finish of fourth at the championships. Rick also was named to the All-NYSCTC Second Team with an 11th-place finish. She recorded season-best times of 15:21.90 in the 4,000-meter run, 18:54.00 in the 5,000 and 23:42.00 in the 6,000. Rick was named to the Empire 8 Presidents’ List for Fall 2011.
High School: A 2011 graduate of Elyria Catholic High School, Rick was a four-year letter winner on the cross country and track and field teams. A senior captain on the cross country team, she was named runner of the year in 2010. During both the 2009 and 2010 seasons, she earned first-team all-North Coast League accolades, first-team all-Lorain County honors and team MVP nods. She received most improved recognition in 2008 and the coaches award in 2007. She served as track & field captain during her outdoor senior season and tallied MVP honors as a junior and senior.
Personal: A physical therapy major, she is the daughter of Adam and Teresa Rick. She is also a member of Ithaca's track & field team.
