2024 Statistics
High School: A 2024 graduate of Bayport Blue Point High School, Renee excelled as a dual-sport athlete in both volleyball and softball. In volleyball, she was named the 2023 Defensive Player of the Year and made the 2023 All-Long Island First Team. She was also one of the Top 50 players in Long Island and earned spots on the 2023 All-County Tournament Team and 2023 All-Classification. She served as the 2022/3 18’s Team Captain and was named to the 2022 All-State Third Team. Additionally, she earned the titles of 2022 Defensive Player of the Year, 2022 All-County Tournament Team MVP, and 2022 All-Classification. Her team was the 2022 Suffolk County and League Champions. In 2021, she earned All-League honors, and her team was League Champions, a title they also held in 2020. In softball, she made the 2024 All-Long Island Second Team and the 2024 All-State Fifth Team. She was one of the Top 100 Players in Long Island in 2024 and made the 2023 Top 100 Players of Long Island. Her team was the 2023 Long Island Champions. She was also recognized on the 2022 All-County Team and the 2022 All County Tournament Team.
Personal: A Physical Therapy major, Renee is the daughter of Tami and Jason McGowan. Her older brother, Trey, plays baseball at SUNY Oswego. She als has four younger siblings, Jayde, Abby, Laney, and Stella.
