Jennifer Buckman arrives to South Hill as Ithaca's new assistant coach for the 2019 academic year, serving in a similar role to Klopfer's a season ago. She recently completed her undergraduate coursework in addition to being a primary hitter for Transylvania University in Lexington, Kentucky. She appeared in 76 matches over the past four seasons from 2015-2018, racking up career totals of 414 kills, 54 assists, 37 service aces, 345 digs, and 22 total blocks. This past season she notched career highs of 214 kills and 145 digs in helping the Pioneers achieve the program's first-ever Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) Regular-Season Championship.

During Buckman's prep career at Assumption she was a member of the program's 2013 Kentucky State Championship. She also ascended through the ranks at one of the most respected volleyball clubs in KIVA.
