Dylan Gawinski Stern begins her first season on the coaching staff of the Ithaca College women’s volleyball program in 2016. Her appointment comes at the conclusion of an outstanding four-year career with the Bomber’s varsity program from 2012-to-2015.
 
Gawinski Stern appeared in 138 matches for Ithaca over her career, finishing with 247 kills, 234 assists, and 135 service aces. Defensively, she was a stellar defender on the ground, amassing 1362 digs, which was just shy of cracking the program’s all-time top-10 ranks. She added four solo blocks and 13 block assists.
 
Gawinski Stern was a huge part of Ithaca’s run to the Empire 8 title in 2015. She accumulated a career-high and team-leading 495 digs, while she ranked second on the squad with 101 assists in leading the Bombers to the NCAA Division III Tournament. She was twice honored as Ithaca’s representative on the Empire 8 Sportswoman of the Year team at the conclusion of both her junior and senior seasons.  
 
She is currently completing her coursework for a D.P.T. in the Department of Physical Therapy.
