2004: Blitz played in all but one match. She was named to the third-team District I all-academic team and was named a first-team Empire 8 all-star. She led the Bombers in total blocks with 114 and was second in service aces with 53. Blitz was also fourth in kills with 268. In the Empire 8, she was ninth in hitting percentage, eighth in service aces per game and seventh in blocks per game. She had 10 or more kills in 11 matches and six times she had 6 or more blocks in a game including eight blocks in three games. Blitz also set career-highs with five service aces against RIT and with 14 kills against both Utica and Cortland.

2003: Blitz appeared in all but three matches for the Bombers. She was named to the third-team District I all-academic team. She ranked fourth on the team averaging 1.60 kills per game and third with 128 blocks. Her 13 kills in a 3-1 win over UC-Santa Cruz was a career high. She recorded a career-high 28 digs and 11 kills against Moravian. At the ECAC championships, Blitz had 15 blocks in a 3-1 win over Rochester. She also recorded a career-best four service aces against Elmira.

High School: Blitz was coached by Scott Majka at Webster High School. She was a first team all-star and captain her senior season, and was also a second team all-star her junior year.

Personal: A biology major, she is the daughter of William and Glenna Blitz.
