Biography

2018-19:  Appeared in all 31 games and made one start for the Bombers...Scored a season-high 9 points, while also adding four rebounds and three assists in the Bomber's win against St. Lawrence [1/11]...Notched seven rebounds against Skidmore [1/19]...Scored three points and tallied four steals against Bard [12/1]...Had her eleventh 4+ rebound game against St. Lawrence [2/9]...Mazzella finished the season with 112 rebounds, 96 points, 28 steals, 28 assists and 14 blocks in 486 minutes of play.

Throughout her career with the Bombers, Mazzella played 109 games and finished her career with 267 points, 246 rebounds, 79 steals, 59 assists, and 25 blocks in 1000+ minutes of playing for the Bombers.

2017-2018: Named to the Liberty League All-Academic Team...Mazzella has appeared in 28 games for the Bombers... Tallied a season-high eight points against Union on Jan. 5... She registered a career high three steals against Bard on Feb. 16... Recorded seven points against Vassar on Feb. 17... Mazzella is averaging 2.6 points, while shooting .390 (16-41) from the field....Mazzella finished the season with a total of 62 points, 16 assists and 63 rebounds.

2016-2017: Made 28 appearances and 1 start for the Bombers... Recorded a new career high on January 12th against St. John Fisher with 11 points on 4-of-6 shooting including 2-of-2 from beyond the arc and 1-of-1 from the free throw line... Finished the season with 90 points, 57 rebounds, 12 assists and 32 steals...

High School: Mazzella attended Peru Central School, where she earned four varsity letters in basketball under head coach Matt Berry. She served as team captain in her junior and senior seasons and helped her team to the State Elite Eight in her senior season. Mazzella was a three-time CVAC All-Star selection, making second team in her sophomore and junior seasons and earning first team in her senior year. She was an 11th team All-State Class A selection in her senior season. Mazzella averaged the most points per game in the CVAC league during her senior season. Mazzella also earned five varsity letters in cross country and three in outdoor track and field.

Personal: Meghan, daughter of Chris and Ann Mazzella, is a Documentary Studies and Production major.
