High School: Mazzella attended Peru Central School, where she earned four varsity letters in basketball under head coach Matt Berry. She served as team captain in her junior and senior seasons and helped her team to the State Elite Eight in her senior season. Mazzella was a three-time CVAC All-Star selection, making second team in her sophomore and junior seasons and earning first team in her senior year. She was an 11th team All-State Class A selection in her senior season. Mazzella averaged the most points per game in the CVAC league during her senior season. Mazzella also earned five varsity letters in cross country and three in outdoor track and field.
Personal: Meghan, daughter of Chris and Ann Mazzella, is a Documentary Studies and Production major.
