2008: Ruhnke missed the season with an injury.

2007: Ruhnke appeared in all 20 games for the Bombers, recording six goals and seven assists. He recorded 82 ground balls, ranking him second on the team. He went 123-for-215 in the faceoff circle for Ithaca and tallied seven caused turnovers. He had a season-best nine ground balls in a win over Utica.
2006: Ruhnke appeared in all 17 games as a freshman, scoring one goal with three assists for four points. He also recorded 96 faceoff wins and collected 53 ground balls. Ruhnke scored his first career goal in Ithaca’s ECAC playoff win over St. John Fisher and registered assists against Geneseo, RIT and Nazareth during the regular season. He also had a season-best eight ground balls and 12 faceoff wins in the ECAC playoff game against the Cardinals.
Career Stats
High School: A 2005 graduate of Brien McMahon High School, Ruhnke was coached by Mike Epstein. A captain for his senior season, he was named team MVP and earned all-state accolades. Ruhnke was also a member of the football and hockey teams. He received all-FCIAC honors in football.
Personal: A recreation management major, he is the son of Kevin and Peggy Ruhnke.
