Biography
2015: Manilla started all 18 games for Ithaca as a senior and finished his career with 97 assists, marking the fifth highest career assists of an Ithaca College men's lacrosse player. He ranked second on the team with 27 assists and fourth on the team with 24 goals. He tallied a career-best five goals against nationally ranked Cortland and dished out five assists in a conference win over Hartwick. Manilla collected 26 groundballs on the year and added four caused turnovers. He earned a spot on the Empire 8 All-Conference Second-Team. |
2015 Game-by-game statistics2014: Manilla started each of the Bombers’ 20 games as a junior. He led the team with 40 assists, a mark that ranks tied for fifth on the program single-season assists list, while chipping in 25 goals for 65 points. His 65 points were the second-most on the squad. Manilla dished out a season-best five assists during a 13-4 NCAA first-round win over Montclair State. He netted game-winners against St. John Fisher and Hartwick during the regular season and over Stevens in the Empire 8 semifinals. Manilla added 30 ground balls and five caused turnovers. |
2014 Game-by-Game Statistics2013: Named to the Empire 8 All-Tournament Team as a sophomore, Manilla started each of the Bombers’ 18 games. He recorded 39 points to rank third on the team. Manilla scored 22 goals, tallying hat tricks on three occasions, and ranked second on the team with 17 assists. He collected 30 ground balls and had four caused turnovers in 2013. |
2013 Game-by-Game Statistics2012: During his rookie season, Manilla ranked fourth on the team with 29 points on 16 goals and 13 assists. Starting all 18 of the Bombers’ games, he scooped up 22 ground balls and forced a trio of turnovers. Manilla scored three game-winning goals for the Bombers. |
2012 Game-by-Game Statistics High School: A 2011 graduate of Fairport High School, Manilla was a three-year letter winner for coach Mike Torrelli. An All-Monroe County second-team honoree as a senior and a Monroe County honorable mention during his junior season, he was named to the Western Empire Team and Adidas All-America Rochester Team. A senior all-star for Team Rochester, he earned the Iron Man Award.
