Henderson joins the coaching ranks after an excellent four-year career at University of Hartford, an NCAA Division I institution that competes in the America East Conference. He was a standout with the Hawks, becoming the program’s 18th player to join the 100-point club during his senior season in 2017. During his time in Connecticut’s State Capitol, Henderson he amassed 133 points in 55 games played, racking up 61 goals and 72 assists over his four seasons. He also collected over 100 ground-balls during his time with the Hawks, finishing with 107 for his career.
 
Henderson was named an All-America East Conference Second Team selection at the conclusion of his senior season, which saw him tally 35 points on 19 goals and 16 assists. He also served as a co-captain for the squad in 2017. As a junior, he helped lead the Hawks to an America East Championship and NCAA Tournament berth, posting a career-best 49 points on 16 goals and team-best 33 assists. Henderson was also an America East All-Rookie Team selection during his freshman season in 2014.
 
As previously mentioned, Henderson began his lacrosse career right here in Ithaca, as he was a four-year standout at Ithaca High School. He helped lead the Little Red to four consecutive Section 4 Class A titles, as well as three Regional Championships, and back-to-back New York State Championship appearances in 2011 and 2012. He was named a High School All-American during his final prep season in 2012.
 
Henderson’s role on the Bombers coaching staff will be primarily working with the attack and man-up units. He will also assist in opponent scouting and video breakdown.
