2011-12: Young saw action in 24 of the Bombers’ 28 games as a junior. He recorded 65 points during the season, including a 12-point performance in the Empire 8 Championship game on Feb. 25. Young added 40 rebounds, seven assists, seven steals and three blocks in 9.8 minutes of play per contest. 2009-10: Young saw action in 14 games throughout his freshman season, playing 7.7 minutes per contest. Young tallied 40 points, 2.9 per game, and 22 rebounds, 1.6 per contest, throughout the season. He also added six steals, five assists and one block over the course of the year. Career Statistics

High School: A 2009 graduate of Greely High School, Young earned three varsity letters in basketball. He was a two-time captain and as a senior was named to the Maine McDonald’s All-Star Team as well as the all-conference team. Young also lettered in football and track & field.

Personal: A physical therapy major, he is the son of Rick and Cindy Young.
