2022: Liberty League All-Academic… Playing in six games at outside linebacker and on special teams, McKenna finished the season with five total tackles… Recorded 3 total tackles against Bridgewater State (9/3)... Made one tackle against Alfred (9/17)… Recorded one tackle against Buffalo State (10/21).

2021: Liberty League All-Academic

High School: Attended DePaul Catholic where he earned four varsity letters under head coach John McKenna...earned Passaic County Scholar Athlete Award...earned all county and all conference honors...part of two Group 3 Non-Public New Jersey State Championship teams.

Personal: Shaye, the son of Kim and John McKenna, is a sports media major.
