2009: Hartz spent his first year at Ithaca as a tight end with the junior varsity team. He was named Ithaca’s Offensive Scout Team Player of the Week after the wins over Utica and #25 Alfred.
High School: A 2009 graduate of Lansing High School, Hartz was coached by Bob Brentener. He was picked for the 2009 Ernie Davis Game and also lettered in basketball and track & field.
Personal: A health and physical education major, he is the son of Greg and Bev Hartz. His mother is a 1983 Ithaca graduate.
