Biography

2022: D3football.com All-American Second Team Defense… All-Region First Team Defense… All-Liberty League Defensive Player of the Year… All-Liberty League First Team Defense… 2x Liberty League Defensive Player of the Week… Cliff Harris Award Nominee… Starting at linebacker for all 13 games, DeSimpliciis finished the season with 90 total tackles including 11 tackles for loss and five and a half sacks... Added three pass breakups, one interception, and three fumble recoveries… Recorded six total tackles including one tackle for loss and one sack against Bridgewater State (9/3)...Recorded 12 total tackles including 1.5 tackles for loss and one sack against Brockport (9/10)...Recorded five total tackles against Alfred (9/17)... Recorded five tackles and a pass breakup against Hobart (10/01)... Recorded 11 tackles and one sack against Rochester (10/08)... Recorded six total tackles against St. Lawrence (10/15)... Recorded five tackles and two sacks against Buffalo State (10/21)... Recorded eight total tackles against RPI (10/29)… Recorded six total tackles and one pass breakup against Union (11/05)… Recorded 10 total tackles including one and a half tackles for loss, one fumble recovery and one interception for a return of 16 yards against Cortland (11/12)… Recorded one tackle against UMass Dartmouth (11/19)… Recorded six total tackles and one fumble recovery against Springfield (11/26)… Recorded nine total tackles including two tackles for loss against North Central (12/3).
 
2021: Played in all 10 games and recorded 22 tackles with 2.5 for loss and one sack...Also broke up two passes and had two quarterback hurries.

High School: A two sport athlete at Garden City High School starring in both football and lacrosse. Earned All-County honors Junior and Senior year for linebacker. Back to back Long Island Champions and Rutgers Cup. Long Island Championship in lacrosse junior year. 

Personal: Son of Tom and Dana DeSimpliciis.
