Biography

2009: King stepped into a starting spot on Ithaca’s offensive line and started every game at left tackle. He helped the offensive line hold two opponents without a sack (Frostburg State and #25 Alfred). The line allowed just one sack to Hartwick (who entered the game leading the Empire 8 in sacks) and two to Cortland, who’d collected 30 coming into the Cortaca Jug.

2008: King played in four games as Ithaca’s second-string left tackle. He also appeared as a blocking tight end.

2007: King spent his first season with the program as a back-up offensive tackle. He made his varsity debut in the Bombers’ Empire 8 win at Utica.

High School: A 2007 graduate of Burlington High School, King was coached by Jim Morrier. He earned all-state recognition as both an offensive and defensive lineman and lettered three times.

Personal: A writing major, he is the son of John King and Sandy Vesterstier and Susan and Charlie Kremer.
