Ithaca College Athletics

2004: Esposito earned second-team Empire 8 all-star honors for a second straight season. He caught a career-high 40 passes and moved into the top 10 on Ithaca’s career receptions list. Esposito caught a pair of touchdowns against Buffalo State to open the season and added three more a week later in the Hartwick win. His 90 receiving yards that week were a career-high total, which he topped two weeks later in the win over Lycoming. Esposito caught six passes (tying a career best) for a personal-high 137 yards. He caught five passes for 91 yards in the Cortaca Jug win. He was named the team’s Honorary Offensive Captain after the win over Utica and was selected Outstanding Back following the Alfred victory.

2003: Esposito started all but one game and was named a second-team Empire 8 all-star. He caught a pair of touchdown passes in the regular-season win over Brockport and another in the NCAA playoff win over the Golden Eagles. Esposito recorded a career-best six catches in the season-opening Alfred win and matched that figure in the Hobart win (posting another career-high with 78 receiving yards). He was named Ithaca’s Outstanding Back after catching five passes in the Utica win.

2002: Esposito was one of five freshmen to earn a varsity letter. He was Ithaca’s leading receiver in the Cortaca Jug game, catching five passes for 51 yards. His first career reception came in the season-opening win at Alfred.

High School: At Fayetteville-Manlius High School, Esposito was coached by Paul Muench.

Personal: A business administration major, he is the son of John and Janice Donohue.
