2022: Liberty League All-Academic… Playing in 12 games at corner and on special teams, Portas finished the season with 19 total tackles to go along with one forced fumble, one interception, and two pass breakups… Recorded two total tackles against Bridgewater State (9/3)... Made one tackle against SUNY Brockport (9/10)... Recorded five total tackles against Alfred (9/17)... Made one tackle against Hobart (10/01)... Notched one tackle against Rochester (10/08)... Recorded two total tackles against St. Lawrence (10/15)…. Recorded three total tackles, one interception, and two pass breakups against Buffalo State (10/21)… Made one tackle and one forced fumble against RPI (10/29)… Recorded one tackle against Cortland (11/12)… Made one tackle against UMass Dartmouth (11/19)… Recorded one tackle against Springfield (11/26).

High School: Attended Boonton High School, where he was a three-year starter under head coach Bryan Ghallager… member of the 2020 NJFCA Super 100 All-State Team… also lettered in baseball.
 
Personal: Danny is the son of Michael and Nancy Portas, he has two siblings, Andrew and Michael… is a Business Administration major.
