Biography

2005: Ross played in 10 games, starting six times at fullback. He led the team’s backs with 32 receptions (the second-highest total ever by a Bomber back) and four touchdown catches. Ross was named Ithaca’s Outstanding Back after the Brockport win. He caught four passes for 45 yards in that game, including a career-best two touchdown receptions. Ross caught five passes in the win over #17 St. John Fisher and collected a career-best six receptions at Lycoming. He touched the ball 36 times this year (four carries, 32 catches); he has scored four touchdowns (all on receptions) and gained 20 first downs (three on rushes, 17 on catches).
 
2004: Ross played in eight games as a reserve fullback and special teams regular. He was named Ithaca’s Hustler of the Week after the win over #20 Springfield. He ran for 24 yards and the winning touchdown and posted career-best totals of four catches for 31 yards. Ross made two special teams tackles in both the Buffalo State and Utica victories. He collected two tackles in the Lycoming win and was named Ithaca’s Specialist of the Week following the game. Ross ranks eighth in the Empire 8 in receptions per game and first among conference backs.
 
2003: Ross played in seven regular-season games and drew his first career starting assignment in the win at St. Lawrence. He gained a career-high 25 yards in that game and caught a touchdown pass for his first collegiate score. Two weeks later he recorded his first career rushing touchdown in the win over Utica.
 
High School: At Tonawanda High School, Ross was coached by Chuck Tilley.

Personal: An exercise science major, he is the son of David Ross and Michele Ross. His uncle, Mark Prelewicz, lettered twice as a strong safety with the Bombers and was an assistant coach with the 1999 team.
