Ithaca College Athletics

Volpe completed his eighth season as a Bomber assistant coach in 2015 and has been on the Ithaca coaching staff since graduating in 2008, working with the team's tight ends. He has coached Bomber tight ends to first-team all-conference honors three times and all-America honors once. In 2016, Volpe took over coaching duties for the running backs.

Volpe lettered three times as a Bomber tight end, appearing in 27 games and helping Ithaca to the NCAA playoffs in 2005 and 2007. He received the Bomber Attitude Award following his senior season.
