High School: Chris attended Haddonfield where he was a four-year member of the football and track & field teams. He was named first-team all-conference twice and was First Team All-South Jersey, along with being selected to the Super 100 All-State Team.

Personal: A health sciences major, he is the son of David Lawrence and Kim Nieves.
