2011: Strand played in four games as a back-up end on Ithaca’s defensive line. He made his first career tackle at #21 Salisbury. Strand recorded a solo tackle against St. John Fisher. |
2011 game-by-game statistics
2010: Strand spent his first varsity season as a reserve defensive lineman. He made his varsity debut in the season-opening win over St. Lawrence.
2009: Strand played on Ithaca’s junior varsity team as a freshman defensive lineman. He was named the Bombers’ Defensive Scout Team Player of the Week following the St. John Fisher game.
High School: A 2009 graduate of Norwich Free Academy, Strand was coached by Mark Ambruso. He served as team captain and also lettered in fencing and lacrosse.
Personal: A computer science major, he is the son of Bill and Jennie Strand.
