High School: Horowitz was a three-year member and one-year letterwinner for Longmeadow High School's varsity field hockey program...She helped the team to the Massachusetts Division I State Finals in all three of her seasons on the team...As a senior, she started every game for the squad...Horowitz was also a two-year member of the track and field program at Longmeadow...She earned Rookie of the Year honors for the squad as a freshman in 2015.
Personal: Samantha is in the Athletic Training program and the daughter of Debbie and Michael Horowitz. Her sister Erica is a member of Wesleyan's varsity field hockey program. Her father, Michael, as well as her uncle, Michael Cole were both graduates of Ithaca in 1986 and 1981, respectively.
