2016 game-by-game statistic 

2016: Pitched in 13 games… Named Empire 8 Conference All-Tournament Team… On March 6th, pitched two innings allowing only two hits and no earned runs recording his first save of the season at St. Joseph’s (L.I.) … On March 30th against Oneonta came into the game and threw one inning of relief allowing no hits and striking one out … On April 3rd at Stevens he threw for five innings allowing one run, striking out five, and picking up his first win of the season … In the second game of a doubleheader on April 16th at Utica threw for one inning of relief allowing only one hit and striking out two… Earned a save in 2.2 innings of work with a pair of strikeouts against Brockport on April 27th…Recorded six strikeouts over 4.1 innings at the Empire 8 Tournament in two appearances, tallying a save against Utica on May 13th.

2015: Appeared in nine games including one start… Picked up his first win of the season in a relief appearance against Utica on April 14th where he struck out two batters in one and two-thirds innings… Tossed two-thirds of an inning to finish out a win against Elmira on April 21st… Pitched a career high eight innings in his only start against Elmira on April 27th, allowing no runs on five hits, and striking out seven.  | 2015 game-by-game statistics

2014: Contegni threw 8.1 innings out of the bullpen over five appearances and struck out 10 batters. He struck out three batters each in relief appearances against Occidental on Mar. 12 and Houghton on Mar. 27. | 2014 game-by-game statistics

2013: Contegni played for Ithaca’s junior varsity team.

High School: A 2012 graduate of Liverpool High School, Contegni was an all-league selection as a senior. He also helped his team win the sectional championship as a junior. 

Personal: A Sport Management and Business Administration double major, he is the son of Jeff and Patty Contegni.
