2011 Game-by-Game Statistics

2010: Zappia made 25 starts in the outfield and appeared in 30 games. In his 96 at bats he hit .292 and had 13 runs batted in. He also had five stolen bases and a perfect 1.000 % fielding percentage. He scored 17 runs and had eight multi-hit games.

2010 Game-by-Game Statistics

2009: Zappia took over as Ithaca’s starting right fielder by season’s end. In 84 at bats, he hit .321 with 27 runs scored and 20 runs batted in. He had nine extra-base hits, including his first career home run against St. John Fisher. Zappia posted nine multi-hit games, including a season high three hits against Oneonta. He also stole eight bases in 11 attempts. Zappia received honorable mention to the all-Empire 8 team.

Career Statistics

High School: A 2007 graduate of Greece Athena High School, Zappia was coached by Jason Bunting and earned three varsity letters in baseball. He was a two-time all-county selection. As a senior, Zappia served as team captain and helped his team to section and regional championships.

Personal: A sport management major, he is the son of Scott and Nancy Zappia. He is also a member of the Bomber football team as a quarterback.
