High School: A 2019 graduate of Sparta High School, Nauta was a four-year member of the varsity baseball program under Sam Slobodzian. At Sparta, Nauta was a two-time team MVP, a two-time Coaches Award winner, and a captain his senior year. He was also named First-Team All-New Jersey by the New Jersey Herald in his final season.
Personal: The son of Tom and Kathy Nauta, Mike is in Ithaca's Business Administration program.
